Disconnect eBay, delete data or delete your account (Danger Zone)

How to disconnect eBay, wipe your DashVue data or delete your account for good, and exactly what stays and what goes.

Settings → Danger Zone is where you disconnect eBay from DashVue, delete all your DashVue data, or delete your DashVue account completely. This article explains what each option actually does, what it keeps versus what it removes, and confirms that none of them touch your eBay account or listings.

Before you do anything

Every action in the Danger Zone is destructive and, once confirmed, cannot be undone. These options are restricted to the account owner, so if you are a teammate on someone else’s DashVue account, you will not see them.

These actions can't be undone

If you are not completely sure, email support first. Most account issues, syncing problems, or billing questions can be sorted out without deleting anything.

Disconnect eBay

Disconnecting stops DashVue from syncing with your eBay account. To do it:

  1. Go to Settings → Danger Zone.
  2. Select Disconnect next to “Disconnect eBay”.
  3. Type DISCONNECT to confirm, then confirm again in the dialog.

Disconnecting clears the buyer data DashVue holds for compliance (for example, buyer names and addresses attached to past orders), but it keeps your own records, such as the orders, expenses, and profit figures you have already built up. Your eBay account, your eBay listings, and your orders on eBay itself are never affected. They stay live exactly as they were. You can reconnect at any time afterwards.

Delete all DashVue data

This removes everything DashVue has stored for you, but keeps your account and login active so you can start fresh.

  1. Go to Settings → Danger Zone.
  2. Select Delete data next to “Delete all DashVue data”.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm, then confirm again in the dialog.

This permanently removes your orders, expenses, inventory, and sync history from DashVue. Your login stays active, so you can sign in afterwards and reconnect eBay to start syncing again. As with every action on this page, your eBay listings are not affected.

Delete your account completely

This is the most final option: it deletes your DashVue data and your login together, so there is nothing left to sign back in to.

  1. Go to Settings → Danger Zone.
  2. Select Delete account next to “Delete account”.
  3. Enter your password to confirm your identity, then confirm the deletion.

Once confirmed, you are signed out immediately and the account cannot be recovered. Deleting your account requires your password because it is the most permanent action on the page.

Your eBay account is separate

Whichever option you choose, disconnecting or deleting inside DashVue never creates, changes, or removes anything on eBay itself. Your eBay account, your listings, and your order history all stay exactly as they are on eBay. DashVue only manages its own copy of that data.

Which option should you use

Use Disconnect eBay if you just want syncing to stop for now and may reconnect later. Use Delete all DashVue data if you want a clean slate while keeping your login and subscription. Use Delete account only if you want to leave DashVue entirely, since it cannot be reversed. If you are unsure which applies to you, see the related articles below or contact support before proceeding.
