Honest limits
What DashVue's eBay SEO tool does not do
An honest list, so you know exactly what you are buying and what you are not.
- It does not track your eBay rank. eBay never publishes rank, and any tool claiming to track it is guessing. The score is DashVue's grade against eBay's published best practice; your own impressions and clicks show the effect.
- It never reads competitor data. Scoring and AI fixes use only your own listings plus eBay's public Taxonomy and Compliance data. No competitor titles, prices or keywords, by design and by eBay's API licence.
- It has no keyword search-volume numbers. Suggested keywords are phrases a UK buyer would plausibly type, generated from your own listing. It is not Terapeak-style market research.
- It does not guarantee rankings or sales. It gets the factors you control right. Price, stock, service and demand still do their part, and the honest limits above apply.

What is eBay SEO?
eBay SEO means optimising your listings so eBay's search engine, Best Match (internally called Cassini), shows them to more buyers. It reads your title, item specifics, category, listing format and buyer engagement. It is separate from Google SEO and it is where most eBay sales start.
How is the DashVue score worked out?

Why do item specifics matter so much?

How long does eBay SEO take to work?
