Buy a shipping label from an order
Compare parcel rates and buy a shipping label straight from an order, then pay from your wallet and download the PDF.
DashVue can buy a shipping label for you directly from an order, so you do not need to leave the app to compare couriers and print postage. This article walks through entering your parcel size, comparing rates, paying, and downloading the label.
Before you start
Shipping labels are only available to Business eBay sellers, and you need credit in your DashVue wallet to pay for the label. If your account is registered as a private seller, or your wallet balance is not enough to cover the rate you choose, you will not be able to complete the purchase.
Business sellers with wallet credit only
Buying a label is limited to Business eBay accounts, and you must have enough credit in your wallet to pay for the label you select. Private sellers and accounts without sufficient wallet balance cannot use this feature.
Buying a label from an order
- Open the order you want to ship.
- Choose the option to buy a shipping label for that order.
- Enter the parcel size for the item you are shipping.
- DashVue fetches available rates and shows them side by side so you can compare options, including the cheapest rate, the fastest rate, and door-to-door services.
- Pick the rate that suits you.
- Confirm payment, which is taken from your DashVue wallet credit.
- Once payment goes through, download the label as a PDF ready to print.
Comparing rates
Rates are shown together so you can weigh up price against speed and service type before choosing. The cheapest rate is not always the fastest, and a door-to-door service may cost more than a drop-off option, so check the details of each rate before confirming.
Paying and getting your label
Payment is taken from your wallet balance, not a card on file, so make sure you have topped up enough credit before you start. Once the payment is confirmed, your label is generated as a PDF that you can download and print straight away.
