Buy a shipping label from an order

DashVue can buy a shipping label for you directly from an order, so you do not need to leave the app to compare couriers and print postage. It is a short three-step flow: fill in your parcel size and get rates, review the cost breakdown and pay from your wallet, then download the label PDF ready to print.

Before you start

Shipping labels are only available to Business eBay sellers, and you need credit in your DashVue shipping wallet to pay for the label. If your account is registered as a private seller, or your wallet balance is not enough to cover the rate you choose, you will not be able to complete the purchase.

Buying a label from an order

1. Open the order you want to ship and choose to buy a shipping label for it.
2. Check the recipient in Ship to, set your Ship from address, and enter the Parcel details (weight and dimensions, plus an optional value and contents).
3. Select Get rates. DashVue fetches available services from couriers.
4. Compare the three featured picks, tagged Cheapest, Fastest and Door to door, and expand Show more services if you want a specific carrier.
5. Pick a service, then select Review.
6. Check the summary and cost breakdown, then Pay from your wallet credit.
7. Download the label as a PDF and print it.

Comparing rates

Once rates load, the three featured cards sit side by side so you can weigh up price against speed and service type. The cheapest rate is not always the fastest, and a door-to-door collection may cost more than a drop-off option, so check the details of each before choosing. The button along the bottom updates to Review with the total of the service you have selected.

Reviewing and paying

The review step is a plain checkout summary before any money moves. It repeats the chosen service, the ship-from and ship-to addresses, and the parcel details, then shows a Cost breakdown: the carrier price (with the VAT portion called out), the DashVue service fee per label, and the total. A Wallet after this label line shows what your balance will drop to. When you are happy, select Pay to charge your wallet.

Payment is taken from your shipping wallet, not a card on file, so make sure you have topped up enough credit before you start. If your balance will not cover the label, the pay button shows Not enough balance instead.

Getting your label

Once payment goes through, DashVue confirms the label is ready and shows how much was charged from your wallet. If the carrier has assigned a tracking number it appears here too. Select Download label PDF to open the label, then print it on A4, tape it to the parcel, and drop it off or wait for collection.
