Buy labels for several orders in one go

How to use DashVue’s bulk-buy queue to buy postage labels for several eBay orders without opening them one at a time.

If you have a stack of orders to post, you do not need to open each one and buy its label separately. DashVue’s bulk-buy queue lets you tick several orders at once and then walks you through buying each label in turn, so you can work through a whole batch without leaving the page.

Where to find it

Open the shipping queue from your dashboard’s Today view. Any order that is ready to post and does not yet have a label appears here, with a checkbox alongside it.

How to buy labels for several orders

  1. Go to the shipping queue and find the orders you want to post.
  2. Tick the checkbox next to each order you are ready to buy a label for.
  3. Start the bulk buy.
  4. DashVue then takes you through the ticked orders one at a time, showing you the service and cost for each so you can confirm before it buys that label.
  5. Once you confirm, DashVue moves on to the next ticked order, and so on until the queue is done.

A guided queue, not a single combined checkout

It is worth understanding how this works before you start, so the flow does not surprise you partway through.

Honest limit: labels are still bought one at a time

Ticking several orders does not create one combined checkout with a single total charge. DashVue queues the ticked orders and guides you through buying each label in turn, confirming the details for that order before moving to the next. It saves you from opening and finding each order individually, but you will still see and approve each label one by one rather than paying once for the whole batch.

If you get interrupted partway through, any orders already confirmed in the queue will have their labels bought. Simply pick up where you left off with the orders still remaining.

Before you start

Buying a label and marking an order as shipped writes tracking information back to eBay, so this needs a Full Access eBay connection rather than a read-only one. If your connection is read-only, reconnect with Full Access first.
