Selecting listings and using the bulk action bar
How to tick listings, select all on a page, and which bulk actions DashVue supports on the Listings page.
The Listings page lets you select more than one listing at once and apply the same action to all of them in a single go. This article covers how to select listings, what “select all” actually selects, and exactly which actions the bulk action bar can perform.
Selecting listings
Every row on the Listings page has a checkbox on the left. Tick the checkbox on any row you want to include, and a bulk action bar appears once at least one listing is selected. Tick a checkbox again to remove that listing from the selection.
- Go to Listings.
- Tick the checkbox next to each listing you want to act on.
- The bulk action bar appears at the top of the table showing how many listings are selected.
- Choose an action from the bar to apply it to every selected listing.
Select all on this page
There is also a checkbox in the table header that selects every listing currently showing on the page. This is a select-all-on-this-page control, not a select-all-listings control.
Select all only covers the current page
Ticking the header checkbox selects the rows visible on the current page of the table. If your listings span several pages, it does not reach across to the other pages. Change pages and tick the header checkbox again if you need to select listings there too.
What the bulk action bar can do
Once you have a selection, the bulk action bar supports a specific, limited set of actions:
- Apply a price drop to all selected listings.
- Pause the repricer on all selected listings.
- Resume the repricer on all selected listings.
- Run an AI rewrite on all selected listings.
- Turn auto relist on for all selected listings.
- Turn auto relist off for all selected listings.
A bulk price drop and pushing an AI rewrite back to eBay both write changes to your eBay listings, so they need a Full Access eBay connection. A Read Only connection can still select listings and view them, but cannot apply these actions.
No bulk category, condition, item specifics or inventory edits
The bulk action bar is deliberately narrow. It does not support bulk editing of category, condition, item specifics, or inventory quantities. Price drop, repricer pause and resume, AI rewrite, and auto relist on and off are the only bulk actions available. Anything else still needs to be changed listing by listing.
AI rewrite uses your AI actions allowance
Running an AI rewrite across a bulk selection uses one AI action per listing rewritten, the same as rewriting a single listing. Every account gets a monthly allowance of free AI actions, with an hourly cap, and optional AI Lite, AI Pro or AI Elite packs if you need more. Selecting a large batch of listings for an AI rewrite can use up your allowance faster than rewriting them one at a time, so it is worth checking your remaining AI actions before running a large batch.
