Dropping prices across many listings at once
How to cut prices on a batch of eBay listings by percentage or fixed amount, with a floor price, straight from DashVue.
This article explains how to lower the price on a batch of eBay listings in one go from the Listings page, using either a percentage cut or a fixed amount off, with a minimum price floor so nothing goes too low. It also covers exactly what this tool cannot do, so you know when to make an edit on a single listing instead.
What the bulk price drop does
From the Listings page, you can select several listings at once and apply the same price cut to all of them. You choose either a percentage (for example, 10% off) or a fixed amount (for example, £2 off), and you set a minimum price so DashVue will not drop any listing below a floor you are comfortable with. Once you confirm, the new prices are pushed live to eBay, this is a real price change on your listings, not a preview or a draft.
Needs a Full Access eBay connection
Pushing new prices to eBay requires your eBay connection to be set to Full Access. If your connection is read-only, you can still select listings and draft a price drop, but DashVue cannot publish the change until you upgrade the connection to Full Access.
How to drop prices on several listings
- Go to Listings.
- Tick the checkbox next to each listing you want to reduce. You can select as many as you like.
- When one or more listings are selected, a bulk actions bar appears. Choose the price drop action to open the bulk price drop tool.
- Choose how to cut the price: a percentage off the current price, or a fixed amount off.
- Set a minimum price floor. DashVue will not reduce any selected listing below this price, even if the percentage or fixed amount would otherwise take it lower.
- Review the new prices shown for each listing, then confirm. DashVue pushes the new prices to eBay for the selected listings.
What this tool will not do
The bulk price drop tool only drops prices. Keep the following limits in mind:
Price drops only, no other bulk edits
This tool cannot set a listing to an exact price you choose, round prices down to a .99 ending, raise prices, or change Best Offer settings. It also does not edit any other selling details (titles, descriptions, images, category, or shipping). For anything beyond a straight price cut, edit the listing individually.
If you need to raise a price, set a specific price point, or change selling details such as Best Offer, do that on the individual listing rather than through the bulk price drop tool.
