Reply to a buyer's Best Offer: accept, decline, or counter
How to accept, decline, or counter a buyer's Best Offer in DashVue without leaving the app, including the expiry countdown.
When a buyer sends a Best Offer on one of your listings, you can accept, decline, or counter it directly from DashVue, without switching over to eBay. This article walks through the Offers Received screen and explains exactly what a counter offer does and does not let you do.
Where to find pending offers
Open Offers → Received in DashVue. Every pending Best Offer appears as a card showing the listing, the buyer’s offered price, and how much that price is discounted against your listed price. Each card also shows a countdown to when the offer expires, so you can see at a glance which offers need a reply soonest.
Accepting an offer
If the offered price works for you, select Accept on the offer card. This sends your acceptance straight to eBay and the item moves into a sale at the offered price, the same as if you had accepted it on eBay directly.
Declining an offer
If the offer is too low and you do not want to negotiate, select Decline. The offer is closed and the buyer is notified through eBay. The listing stays live at its original price for other buyers.
Countering an offer
- On the offer card, select Counter.
- Type the single price you want to offer back to the buyer.
- Submit the counter. It is sent to eBay and the buyer sees it as your reply to their offer.
A counter in DashVue is a single price you type in, not an ongoing back-and-forth negotiation. Once you send your counter price, the ball is in the buyer’s court to accept, decline, or send a new offer of their own. DashVue does not manage a multi-round haggling thread for you inside the app.
One counter, not a negotiation thread
Counter offer in DashVue means submitting one price. There is no built-in back-and-forth bargaining tool. If the buyer comes back with another offer, it will appear as a new pending offer on the Offers Received screen for you to accept, decline, or counter again.
Keep an eye on the expiry countdown
Best Offers do not stay open indefinitely. The countdown shown on each offer card tells you how long you have left to respond before the offer expires unanswered. Check Offers Received regularly, particularly on listings with several offers at once, so you do not miss the window to reply.
