Start from a ready-made design template
Browse premium listing layouts, preview one with your own item, and open it in the designer to customise.
This article shows you how to pick a ready-made design and get it into the designer, so you are styling a layout instead of building one from a blank page.
Browse the ready-made layouts
The template gallery shows a set of premium, ready-made layouts you can use as a starting point for your listing design. Scroll through the gallery to see the range of styles on offer before you commit to one.
Preview a layout with your own listing
Hover over any layout in the gallery and it fills in a live preview using your own latest item, so you can see roughly how the design will look with your real photos and title rather than the generic placeholder content shown in the gallery thumbnail.
Previews are samples, not saved designs
The hover preview is only a sample. It does not save or apply anything to your listings. A design only starts styling the listings you generate once you have chosen it and opened it in the designer.
Open a layout in the designer
When you find a layout you like, select Customize on that card. This opens the layout in the designer, where you can adjust it further before it is used to style the listings you generate.
Starting from a blank design instead
If none of the ready-made layouts fit, use the Custom HTML Template card in the same gallery. This opens a blank designer instead of a pre-built layout, so you can build your own design from scratch.
