Draft Several Listings at Once with Bulk Create

Paste up to 8 items into Bulk create and let AI draft each one. Review the batch, add photos, then publish drafts individually.

Bulk create lets you draft several eBay listings in one go instead of creating them one at a time. Paste in a short list of items, choose a shared condition, and AI drafts each listing for you to review as a batch.

Where to find it

Open the Listing Helper and go to Bulk create. This is a native DashVue tool, not something pulled in from a connected marketplace tool.

How it works

  1. Open Listing Helper → Bulk create.
  2. Paste in your items, one per line. You can add up to 8 items in a single run.
  3. Choose a condition that applies to the whole batch (for example, New or Used). Every item in the run shares this one condition.
  4. Optionally choose a template to apply a consistent design or layout across the batch.
  5. Start the run. AI drafts a listing for each item on your list.
  6. Open the batch at Bulk create → review and go through each draft.
  7. Add photos to each draft individually, then check and edit the title, description and item specifics as needed.
  8. Publish the drafts one at a time, not as a single batch action.

Text only: photos and publishing happen after

Bulk create writes the text of each listing (title, description, item specifics). It does not add photos. You add photos to each draft afterwards, and you publish each listing individually, not the whole batch at once.

Limits to know before you start

  • Up to 8 items per run. If you have more to list, run Bulk create again for the next batch.
  • One shared condition per run. If your items have mixed conditions, split them into separate runs by condition.
  • Text only. Photos are not part of the bulk step. Add them per draft after AI has written the listing text.
  • Vehicles are skipped. Any line that looks like a whole vehicle (a car, motorbike, and so on) is skipped rather than drafted. List whole vehicles through eBay’s own vehicle listing form instead. Vehicle parts and accessories are fine to include.
  • Drafts, not live listings. Every item in the batch is created as a draft. Nothing goes live on eBay until you open a draft, review it and publish it yourself.

Keep each line simple and specific

A clear, specific line (for example “Nike Air Max 90 Trainers UK 9 White”) gives AI more to work with than a vague one. If a draft comes out light on detail, edit it by hand during review.

Reviewing and publishing the batch

Once the run finishes, go to the batch review screen and check each draft for:

  • Title accuracy and formatting
  • Description quality
  • Category and item specifics (make sure they fit the item)
  • Price and quantity, since AI never sets these, you do
  • Photos, which you add per draft during review

You need a Full Access eBay connection to publish

To publish any draft to eBay you need a connected eBay account with full access granted to DashVue. With a read-only connection you can still create and edit bulk drafts, but you’ll need full access before you can publish them. DashVue publishes fixed-price (Buy It Now) listings only.

AI usage

Drafting a batch with Bulk create uses AI actions. Every account gets a monthly allowance of free AI actions, and you can add an AI pack for more if you need it. AI drafting also has fair-use limits, an hourly cap and a monthly allowance, so if you hit a limit mid-run, wait a while and try again.
