Auto-relist: automatically relaunch listings that end

Turn on auto-relist to relaunch ended eBay listings automatically, add an optional price cut, and track relist count and date.

Auto-relist republishes a listing on eBay automatically when it ends, so you do not have to spot ended items and relaunch them by hand. This article covers turning it on per item or in bulk, adding an optional price reduction on each relist, and reading the relist count and last relisted date on an item.

What auto-relist does

In the Stock cockpit on the Listings page, each item carries an auto-relist setting. When it is switched on and the listing ends on eBay, DashVue republishes it for you rather than leaving it sitting ended. Relisted items go back up as fixed-price (Buy It Now) listings, in line with how DashVue publishes generally, it does not create or relaunch anything as an auction.

Turning auto-relist on or off

  1. Open Listings and find the item in the Stock cockpit.
  2. Open its auto-relist settings.
  3. Switch auto-relist on (or off, to stop future relists).
  4. Optionally, set a price reduction percentage to apply on each relist.
  5. Save. The setting applies from the next time the listing ends.

You can also select several items at once and apply the same auto-relist toggle to all of them in one go, rather than opening each item individually.

Optional price reduction on relist

If an item is not selling at its current price, a small price reduction on each relist can help. Set a percentage and DashVue lowers the price by that amount each time the listing relists, instead of relaunching at the same price it just failed to sell at. Leave the percentage unset if you want the item to relist at an unchanged price.

Relist count and last relisted date

Each item shows how many times it has been relisted and the date it was last relisted. Use these together to spot stock that keeps cycling without selling, for example an item with a high relist count and a recent last-relisted date is a candidate for a bigger price cut, a rewritten listing, or pulling from sale altogether.

Needs a Full Access eBay connection

Relisting pushes a new listing live on eBay, so it needs your eBay account connected with Full Access. With a read-only connection you can view and set the auto-relist toggle and price reduction, but DashVue cannot actually publish the relist to eBay until you upgrade the connection to Full Access.

Relisting only, not first-time scheduling

Auto-relist covers what happens after a live listing ends on eBay. It does not schedule when a listing is first published or launched; that is a separate part of creating a listing. If you are looking to control when a brand-new listing goes live, see the related articles below.
