Vendoo review — the honest answer
Different products. Different jobs.
Vendoo and DashVue barely overlap. One answers "how do I list this once and sell it on six marketplaces?" The other answers "what did I actually make on this eBay UK order?"

Start with Solo — £9/monthSix structural reasons
Why UK sellers look for a Vendoo alternative
Vendoo is a capable cross-listing tool — 4.3 on Trustpilot, 40,000+ users, Y Combinator-backed. This isn't a hit-piece. But if your shop is UK eBay-only, Vendoo is solving a problem you don't have.
Vendoo doesn't do profit tracking at all
It's a listings tool. No COGS, no VAT-scheme maths, no real profit-per-order number. Their analytics show listing performance, not what each sale actually made you.
Pricing is in USD
Headline tier is $8.99. UK customers pay on Visa/MasterCard/PayPal — your bank does the FX and adds a 1–3% fee on top.
The real cost is closer to $21
The $8.99 Starter doesn't include all 11 marketplaces. You need the $4.99 'All Marketplaces' add-on, $4.99 Importing, $4.99 Bulk Delist & Relist — or the $11.99 bundle. Headline + add-ons = $20.98/month.
No UK VAT schemes / £90k threshold / UK FVF rates
Standard, Flat Rate and Marginal schemes produce different margins. Vendoo doesn't know they exist. No threshold tracking, no UK category-specific Final Value Fee calculation.
You're paying for 10 marketplaces you don't use
Poshmark, Depop, Mercari, Etsy, Whatnot, Grailed, Vestiaire, Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, Shopify. Fine if you sell there. Wasted if eBay UK is your shop.
Auto-delist can be inconsistent
Repeated Trustpilot theme: sale-detection sometimes only delists on one or two platforms, leaving listings live elsewhere. Real risk of over-selling stock if you cross-list.

Adding DashVue (or replacing Vendoo entirely)
Three steps. No data lock-in either way.
- 01
Create your DashVue account
Sign up at app.dashvue.co.uk with email and password. Two minutes. Solo is £9/month, cancel anytime from your account settings.
- 02
Connect your eBay shop with one OAuth click
DashVue pulls your live eBay orders, listings, fees and payouts in real time via the eBay Trading and Finances APIs. No CSV uploads. Revocable in two clicks from your eBay account if you ever want to disconnect.
- 03
Pick your VAT scheme and starting COGS
Standard, FRS or Marginal — pick yours. Bulk-set COGS by SKU or snap a supplier invoice (Pro + AI). Every eBay order from this point shows real net profit. Keep Vendoo running alongside for cross-listing, or cancel it if eBay UK is your only shop.
The honest answer
Pick the one that fits the shop you actually run
Choose Vendoo if
- You cross-list on 3+ resale marketplaces (Poshmark + Depop + Mercari + eBay).
- You sell fashion / vintage / sneakers / collectibles primarily.
- Mobile-first workflow matters — their app is genuinely good.
- You're US-headquartered or your accounting runs in USD.
- Listing management is your daily pain, not profit calculation.
Choose DashVue if
- You sell primarily on eBay UK and want a tool built around that.
- You want to know your real net profit on every order — not just listings.
- You need UK VAT-scheme handling (Standard, FRS, Marginal).
- You prefer flat GBP pricing without add-on stacking.
- You want a UK-registered ICO controller you can take a SAR to.
Inside the Solo plan
What £9 a month actually does
Real net profit per order
Every fee, every postage label, every COGS line deducted live. Not a month-end summary — the number you see on the order is the number that lands in your bank.
UK VAT scheme aware
Standard, Flat Rate or Marginal — pick yours once and every margin recalculates correctly. £90k threshold tracker tells you when you'll cross it.
Auto-print invoices
Order drops in, branded PDF invoice prints to your thermal or A4 printer. No daily download, no manual export, no spreadsheet.
The right fee, per listing — not averaged
eBay UK has 16 published Final Value Fee categories (Feb 2026). A £40 Cameras sale at 6.5% shows £2.20 more profit than a generic tool that uses an averaged 10–12% rate.
UK-registered ICO controller
Your data is held by a company you can take a SAR to under English law. Most non-UK competitors hand off to a US or EU processor with their own routing.
Pro + AI when you outgrow Solo
Snap a supplier invoice and AI extracts COGS to the right SKUs. AI drafts listings from photos. £33.99/month when we reopen the waitlist.
Stop guessing what each eBay sale actually made you
Connect eBay, pick your VAT scheme, and every order from then on shows real net profit — fees, postage and COGS deducted live. £9 a month in GBP, cancel any time.
Solo plan — £9/month, cancel any time. We’ll redirect you to app.dashvue.co.uk to finish creating your account.
FAQ
Questions UK sellers ask before they switch
Is DashVue a good Vendoo alternative for UK eBay sellers?
Only if you sell on eBay UK as your main or only marketplace. Vendoo and DashVue do completely different jobs — Vendoo is a cross-listing tool that lets you list once across 11 resale marketplaces. DashVue is a UK eBay profit dashboard that calculates real net profit per order (eBay fees, Royal Mail, COGS, VAT). If you cross-list on Poshmark + Depop + Mercari + eBay, Vendoo is the better fit. If you sell on eBay UK and want to know what each order actually made you, DashVue is the better fit. Some sellers run both — Vendoo for cross-listing, DashVue for the eBay UK profit picture.
How much does Vendoo actually cost? Beyond the $8.99 starter tier
Vendoo's published Starter tier is $8.99/month USD (25 items, 25 background removals). But the entry tier does NOT include all 11 marketplaces — that's a $4.99/month add-on. Importing existing listings is another $4.99/month. Bulk Delist & Relist (the feature their own marketing highlights as a 33% sales lift) is another $4.99/month. The bundle of all three is $11.99/month. So the effective entry cost for a seller wanting the headline Vendoo experience is closer to $20.98/month, not $8.99. Tiers above Starter scale to $149.99/month (Expert, 4,000 items).
Does Vendoo offer UK or GBP pricing?
Not on their published pricing page. Vendoo's prices are listed in USD only, with no GBP toggle. UK customers can pay with a UK card or PayPal, but the merchant bills in USD — your bank statement shows the FX'd GBP equivalent. DashVue, by contrast, is priced and billed in GBP natively.
What does Vendoo do that DashVue doesn't?
Cross-listing across 11 resale marketplaces (eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Shopify, Whatnot, Grailed, Vestiaire Collective, Vinted). AI photo background removal. Auto-delist when an item sells on one marketplace. Mobile apps for iOS and Android. Listing templates and bulk editing. DashVue is eBay-only by design — we don't compete on any of these.
Does Vendoo have profit tracking?
No. Vendoo is a listing-management tool. Their analytics show listing performance and sale activity, but there's no concept of 'real net profit per order' — no per-listing fee calculation, no COGS, no VAT scheme handling, no Royal Mail postage cost deduction. If you want to know what an order actually made you, you'd need a separate tool (or a spreadsheet). DashVue exists to be that tool for UK eBay sellers.
Can I use Vendoo for eBay UK specifically?
Yes, but it isn't built for UK sellers. Vendoo supports the eBay marketplace among its 11 integrations, but lacks UK VAT scheme handling (Standard, FRS, Marginal), the £90k VAT threshold tracker, category-accurate eBay UK Final Value Fee rates, and Royal Mail Simple Delivery presets. Fine for managing listings across marketplaces; not a substitute for UK-specific profit and VAT tooling.
Should I switch from Vendoo to DashVue, or use both?
Depends on your shop. If you cross-list on multiple marketplaces (eBay + Poshmark + Depop + Mercari, the classic combo), keep Vendoo for the cross-listing workflow and add DashVue alongside it for the eBay UK profit tracking. If you've realised you only really sell on eBay UK, DashVue alone replaces Vendoo without losing anything you actually use. The two tools solve different problems.
DashVue is new — should I trust it over Vendoo's 9-year track record?
Fair question. Vendoo launched in 2017 and has 40,000+ users; DashVue launched in 2025 and is in beta. Three things that make the switch low-risk: (1) DashVue connects to eBay via OAuth — you can revoke access in two clicks from your eBay account if anything goes wrong, no data lock-in. (2) DashVue is a UK Ltd registered at Companies House with ICO data-controller status — you have English-law jurisdiction if there's ever an issue. (3) Solo is £9/month with no minimum contract — cancel any time. The younger-product risk is real but mitigated; on the UK eBay edge cases that matter most (VAT schemes, FVF categories, Royal Mail), DashVue is purpose-built and Vendoo doesn't try to compete.
When should I choose Vendoo over DashVue?
If you cross-list across 3+ resale marketplaces (the typical reseller combo: eBay + Poshmark + Mercari + Depop, or vintage / sneakers / fashion-focused selling). If you need a strong mobile app workflow. If you need AI photo background removal and listing templates. If you're US-headquartered or your accounting runs in USD. If listing management is your daily pain — not profit calculation.
When should I choose DashVue over Vendoo?
If eBay UK is your primary marketplace. If real-time per-order profit matters. If you need UK VAT scheme handling (Standard, FRS, Marginal). If you need the £90k threshold tracked. If you want a UK-registered ICO data controller. If you want flat GBP pricing without add-on stacking inflating the real cost.
